About

I'm a ceramic and fibers artist living in the Pacific Northwest, on a small farm in the Douglas Fir and Big Leaf Maple forests.

It's these forests, my gardens, and the nearby Oregon coastline and beaches that inspire my ceramic work.  I'm moved by the beauty surrounding me!  My goal is to re-create the small treasures found on walks and explorations.

I have a BFA and MA in Art Education from Arizona State University and over 18 years experience teaching students ranging in age from toddlers to seniors.

The ceramic beads, buttons, pendants, and jewelry components offered are fired from three to five or more times as I build layers of glaze, color, and texture, bringing them to life.

I hope you find something here that will inspire you!
